Mobile Websites: Have You Moved To Mobile Yet?

Norm Wright Jr | Mobile-MarketingHave you made the move to mobile yet? A basic tenant in marketing is “you need to be were the people are”. My friends – the people are on their mobile devices!!!

The movement from the desktop to mobile has been very quick. Smartphones have put the power of the internet and social communication in the palm of our hands. However, in my research, I am surprised to see how many organizations haven’t made the simple leap to even create a mobile website. We all know that people want instant gratification. They don’t want to have to go back to their desktop computer to find out information about your company, product or services. You need to step up and embrace the mobile movement.

Interesting that the percentage of people using their mobile phones to actually make calls is not registed on the graphic. Does this mean that less than 20% of mobile phone owners actually use their phones to make calls or did the survey omit to include the fundamental purpose of such devices when preparing their survey?

@rhodanmc LOL... That is a very good point. I think when it comes to smartphone usage, the device becomes more of an overall communication device rather than what it's fundamental intention was.
